Breaking Free from the Rebirth Cycle: It’s Time to Rise

It’s been a profound week of awakening. A week of death and rebirth. A shedding. A becoming. And this morning, as I sat in meditation, a message came through that I feel compelled to share.
How many times, dear one, will you continue to die through the season, only to be reborn in the spring and live the life you had just passed on from?
How many times will you cycle through the same patterns, the same pain, the same illusions—convincing yourself that this time, this rebirth will be different? How long will you keep spinning on this sick cycle carousel, mistaking movement for progress, mistaking survival for transformation?
The truth is, rebirth is not the goal. Rising is.
I know this dance well. I spent years caught in the loop—dying, awakening, being reborn, only to return to the very life I had sworn to leave behind. Each season, I convinced myself that this was the one. That I was stepping into something new. But really, I was just repainting the same picture with different colors.
And then, it hit me. The only thing holding me back… was me.
I was the one recreating the same experiences.
I was the one allowing others to make me feel less than.
I was the one who didn’t love myself enough to break free.
The world wasn’t doing this to me. The people around me weren’t responsible for my suffering. They were simply mirrors, reflecting back the parts of me I had refused to see. The parts I was afraid to embrace.
When I finally faced my own reflection—when I stopped blaming the outside world and turned inward—I realized something powerful:
I am in control.
And so are you.
You hold the power to shift everything. To step off the carousel. To rise from the ashes instead of crumbling into them. But to do that, you must go within.
You must gather the shattered pieces of your soul—the ones you’ve ignored, abandoned, and left behind. You must love them back into wholeness. Because only when you embrace the fullness of who you are—the light and the shadow—can you finally step into the life waiting for you.
Spring is here.
Rebirth has come.
But this time, let it be different.
This time, don’t just be reborn. Rise.
For you. Not for them. Not for the illusion of change. But for you.
Because you are the creator.
You are the master of your own reflection.
And when you truly see that… you are free.
With love, light, and the courage to rise,
Cristie Shoemaker
